The terms below govern the use of this website and the sale of watches by AV Meridiem. Full transaction terms are provided with every formal invoice.
1. About AV Meridiem
AV Meridiem is an independent dealer based in Brussels, Belgium, specialized in carefully selected pre-owned luxury watches. AV Meridiem is a Belgian VAT registered business and operates by appointment only.
2. Independent dealer disclaimer
AV Meridiem is an independent dealer and is not affiliated with Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet or any other watch manufacturer. Brand names are used for identification purposes only.
3. Watch descriptions & condition
Every watch is presented with a clear description of its condition, configuration and known history. Pre-owned watches may show signs of prior wear consistent with their age and use. Images and descriptions are provided in good faith and to the best of our knowledge.
4. Pricing & availability
Prices are provided on request and may change without notice. Availability is subject to prior sale. A watch is only reserved once confirmed in writing by AV Meridiem.
5. Payment
Payment is accepted by bank wire transfer only. A formal invoice is issued for every transaction. Watches are released or shipped once payment has been received in full and cleared.
6. Viewing, handover & shipping
Private viewings are available by appointment in Brussels and the surrounding area. Whenever possible, watches are handed over in person. For clients outside the Brussels area, insured shipping is available at the buyer's expense and is fully insured for the declared value of the timepiece.
7. Warranty
All watches are sold with the legal warranty applicable under Belgian consumer law. Water resistance is tested on vintage and neo-vintage references prior to sale. Recent references sold as new or like-new are covered by their remaining manufacturer's warranty where applicable. Full terms and conditions are available on request.
